Across Oceans and Through Details: A Journey of Crafting Custom Cushions and Pillows

Sometimes, at the end of a long day, sitting among fabric rolls and scattered sketches, I find myself wondering: how many miles did my thoughts travel today? One moment I’m obsessing over a seam for Emma in the United States, and the next, I’m discussing architectural lines with Mikkel in Oslo.

This isn't just a business for me. It’s a connection that grows across oceans. Every time a photo from your space lands in my inbox or appears with your review, it feels like I’m visiting you for a moment, seeing how a piece of my heart found its place in your world.

The Conversation Behind the Craft

When it comes to custom orders, it’s about so much more than just size and price. It’s about the soul of the materials and the specific personality of your furniture and your interior. I find myself asking: Is the sitting area built-in or open? Is it bathed in window light or tucked in a cozy, dark corner? Is the palette cold or warm? Will this be a high-traffic area for family and friends?

The more details I know, the better solution I can offer. Aligning these specifics always takes time - sometimes tons of conversations - but it’s a process I cherish. I remember many of my clients even years after their purchase because of the stories we shared while creating their perfect piece.

The Beauty is in the Details

I still remember working with Adrian (USA). We spent so much time making sure the cushions were just right, placing the straps in the exact spots and matching them to the specific tone of his wooden bench. We even coordinated delivery details to ensure they arrived exactly when needed. When he left a 5-star review and noted the cushion was "soft enough to be comfortable but firm enough to feel supportive," I felt such a wave of relief! It matters deeply to me that my work isn't just a pretty picture, but a reliable part of your daily comfort.

From Summer Houses to Cat Kingdoms

My studio creates more than just covers; it creates favorite spots. Ida’s summer house in Sweden is such a dreamy, rustic escape. Knowing my bench cushion is there, fitting perfectly into that peaceful Nordic life, makes me so proud.

And then there are the clients who don't even use words. I often get photos of pets claiming my cushions as their own. As one client told me, her new cushion became her cat’s favorite spot for belly rubs! Seeing my work stand up to the "test" of happy pets is the best quality control I could ask for. Another client recently confirmed: “Everything was perfect and both cushions arrived in great order. My cats love them!”

Jennifer shared a similar story in her review:

“Jurgita has been very responsive and attentive. We communicated a lot via messages related to sizes and fitting. The package arrived within two weeks and my cat loves it a lot! Very happy with my purchase and definitely will recommend to anyone!”

As a fellow cat and dog lover, I completely agree - pets (especially cats!) have a magical ability to find the most comfortable spot in any room.

A World Connected by Comfort

It’s a beautiful thing to see how LinenSpace fits into so many different lives and spaces:

The Focal Points: Jean (USA) described her long lumbar pillow as the centerpiece of her bed, proving how one crafted piece can change a room's entire mood.

The "Unique" Factor: Erika (USA) wanted her bedroom to feel complete and one-of-a-kind. Helping you find that "unique" missing piece is exactly why I love custom work.

The Long-Distance Challenges: Sending extra-long custom inserts to Diana in Canada is always an adventure. Knowing they arrived beautifully packaged and ready to enjoy makes every logistical hurdle worth it.

The Perfect Fit: Melanie (USA) masterfully used her custom bench cushion - with its rust, azure, and cream tones - to bring her vibrant blue sitting area to life.

Architectural Harmony: In Oslo, Mikkel Wennesland Arkitektur integrated our custom seating into a modern IT hub, noting the "perfect delivery, quality, and service."

Why I Do What I Do

At the end of the day, I do this because I love to help. When Emma (USA) mentioned how much she appreciated me helping her navigate those tricky custom sizes for her window nook, it reminded me that people value the person behind the product. Knowing her cushions are impeccably made gives me such peace of mind.

Thank you for letting LinenSpace into your sanctuaries. Each photo you send is a reminder that a love for craftsmanship truly has no borders.

Is there a corner in your home waiting for its "perfect match"? Send me a message - let’s dream it up together!

Warmest wishes from Jurgita, LinenSpace
